Mod License Agreement

Applies To: All mods, files, assets, plugins, and related content created and distributed by Avebrave, unless explicitly stated otherwise on an individual mod page.

By downloading, installing, using, or otherwise accessing any of my mods, you agree to the following terms:

1. Personal Use

You may freely install, use, modify, edit, convert, or otherwise alter my mods for private personal use on your own system.

I place no restrictions on what you do privately for your own game.

Any form of public release, redistribution, upload, or sharing remains subject to the terms below.

2. Redistribution

You may not publicly redistribute my mods, in whole or in part, without my prior permission.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• reuploads to mod hosting websites;
• mirrors or archives;
• Discord/file-sharing distribution;
• inclusion in mod packs, collections, installers, or compilations;
• sharing modified versions publicly.

Permission must be requested first.

3. Asset Use

You may not extract, copy, convert, adapt, or reuse any assets contained in my mods for use in another public project without prior permission.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• meshes
• textures
• scripts
• audio
• animations
• plugin records
• documentation
• bundled resources of any kind

4. Patches, Translations, and Compatibility Releases

Public patches, translations, compatibility files, and similar add-ons are permitted without prior permission, provided that:

• my original mod is required as a master/dependency;
• my original files are not redistributed;
• no assets from my mod are included;
• proper credit is provided.

If any of my files or assets are included, permission is required first.

5. Ports and Platform Restrictions

Public ports, conversions, or releases of my mods for:

• console platforms;
• cloud gaming platforms;
• unofficial platform conversions;
• any non-PC public release;

are not permitted.

Private personal conversion for your own use is unrestricted under Section 1, but public distribution is prohibited.

6. Commercial Use

Commercial use is prohibited unless explicitly authorised by me in writing.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• paid mod packs;
• monetised redistribution;
• Patreon-exclusive releases;
• paywalled access;
• commercial asset reuse;
• donation-point monetisation systems;
• any direct or indirect commercial exploitation.

Default position: No commercial use.

7. AI / Machine Learning

My mods, files, assets, documentation, screenshots, and related content may not be used for:

• AI training;
• machine learning datasets;
• model fine-tuning;
• generative asset creation;
• dataset aggregation;
• synthetic reproduction systems;

without my explicit written permission.

8. Abandonment

This license remains in effect regardless of my activity status.

My absence, inactivity, or discontinuation of support does not grant additional permissions.

If permission is required, permission is required.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty / Liability

My mods are provided as is, without warranty of any kind.

By using my mods, you accept all associated risk.

I am not liable for:

• corrupted save files;
• crashes;
• incompatibilities;
• data loss;
• performance issues;
• software or hardware damage;
• any other issue resulting from installation or use.

Use at your own risk.

10. Permission Requests

Permission requests may be submitted through the contact form on this website or by any other direct means of contacting me.

Permission is granted only when explicitly confirmed by me.

Silence, inactivity, or lack of response does not constitute permission.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using any of my mods, you acknowledge and agree to this license.
